capt. Joel Dickey

Capt. Joel Dickey has been fly fishing since he was 12 yrs old and guiding clients professionally since he was 18 yrs old. Joel has guided on the small streams and large tail waters for trout in the southeastern United States. He also guided clients for large and smallmouth bass and land locked stripers in the lakes of Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina. He has guided in Alaska for salmon and is now a permanent guide in the Florida Keys. He guides for tarpon, bonefish, and permit. Joel was a featured angler in the popular fly fishing movie “Rise” in the Florida Keys segment and has been on the covers of several different national fly fishing magazines. Joel also is a prolific saltwater fly tier and has been a certified FFF casting instructor in addition to assisting with the instruction of international fly fishing schools. Joel is on the pro staff of several different fly fishing manufactures.
